TPU not Working with A30M

Post by Deadeye » Sun Jan 19, 2020 8:44 pm

While the A30M doesn’t specifically say it works with flexible TPU, I found the extruder stops feeding it. I tried modifying the tension screw on the extruder which worked for a while, but only a few minutes before it stopped again. I’m looking to replace the extruder with a Bontech type extruder. Anyone have any ideas on a suitable extruder for flexible filiments using a bowden tube or what i can do to fix the ones fitted to the A30M?

Hi, are you saying I need a Proximal extruder on my A30M to print with flexible filiments?

:D Hi, If using flexible supplies,
This is best done using a short-range extruder.

Oh ok. So as the A30M uses a Bowden tube and remote extruder from the hot end, it’s really not suitable for printing flexible filiments :|
That’s disappointing

Suitable, but with very low volumetric speed. And possible you need to lubricate filament (use drop of gun oil to filament filter).

TIP: tight all screws and wheels (except right side of Z axis) and re-align frame while assembly. And silence it.
