Cable management A20M

Post by Rockel83 » Tue Dec 21, 2021 7:53 am

I think cable management on the A20M is really terrible. Really don't know how they could had designed something like this.

Extruder cables are way to short and will get in the way of the printbed or the hotend cable.

The people of Geeetech could had found this out when trying to build up a kit themselves before taking it into mass production.
It's no rocket science to find out there were some better sollutions to this...

For me the best sollution seemed:

I just drilled a hole at the other side of the vertical frame there's plenty of room doing so and it's on the side of the print. So taking up the cable here will also give some more cable length to play with.

Just put in a rubber washer to protect the cable from cutting and so it looks better.

Only need to design and print some cable holders to screw on the vertical extruded frame. There's plenty of room for this here.
