A20M hotend, righthand entry does not heat

Post by riqbelcher » Mon Aug 17, 2020 3:24 pm

Until recently my A20M printer has been working really well with both left and right filaments. Sadly, the right filament entry point no longer works.. The extruder tries to push the filament in, but because the hotend is not melting the filament, the motor skips. I cleaned the nozzle after removing the filaments, and both sides are clean. Yet the right side still fails to heat up. The printer is only a few months old, so I am hoping someone can point me in the right direction to either fix, or have the hotend replaced under warranty.

Hello, generally speaking, the left and right ports share a heating rod, so you can refer to the video below to clean up the hot end, which may be a blockage problem. :D
