Is this good printer for beginners

Post by Thegrinch » Sat Jan 11, 2020 1:50 am

I am totally new and still haven’t bought a partner but doing research.
Would any one recommend this printer for a new guy or just get one without dual colors ?

Also from what I read to use dual colors. Do I need to buy simplified 3D software to print in 2 colors ?

For the price I like this printer.
Also for the forum and support it has I like this brand.
Thank you for your comments

This is also my first printer I bought. I just gave my files to someone else in the past.

My opinion:
The manual isn't great, use youtube it is really great
The dual colors is great if you don't plan to paint (if you paint your models it doesn't matter).

There are 2 ways to print in multicolor:
You can use cura to print dual colors (in this forum there are cura profiles).
This way allows you to do complex prints.

The other way is through the printer
This is way simpeler. you can set a height where the printer changes, or do a gradient

But it is a great printer
