I guess I do need to learn first how to do it!

Post by Leoyarms » Sat Oct 19, 2019 9:29 pm

Hey everyone,
I have an A20M, but when i try to use the color mixing features, it simply extrudes both colors at the sane time, so that it comes out where the extruded filament is half one color and half the other, and not mixed. ive tried turning up the temperature and slowing the speed, but to no effect. also ive had bed adhesion problems iphone trade in. my solution to the bed adhesion has been copious amounts of elmers glue stick, but there has to be a better way? Also I cannot make dual color prints, it just makes either a mix of the two like described above, or jams very quickly. also, in between colors, it waits and tries to heat the nozzle? idk why this happens, i would LOVE some help with this.

if you have PEI sheet, then it is .....CENSORED...

Use black glass Superplate. It did not need glue, but need higher temp. For ABS is ideal 110, but for speed-up I use 103 and 110 for other layers.

For PLA try to use 70-80°C for first layer, other layers you need to try. I did not print with PLA, I made all from ABS at high temps include vase etc. See below for inspiration.

TIP: tight all screws and wheels (except right side of Z axis) and re-align frame while assembly. And silence it.

Hi, you can view your blending ratio through the screen;
If the print does not stick to the hotbed, you can try to level the hotbed.
Then try increasing the consumable temperature by 5-10°.
