Re: GT2560 V3 - atmega blown up

Hello Cubitus88  I've read your posts and I think you have enough experience with electronics to run this printer successfully. However, at the moment the diagnosis can be difficult because we don't know what happened before you bought the printer. So I recommend caution. For starters, it's...

Re: Design flaw or assembly error?

Hello. Weird thing is that at beginning of each print the nozzle goes up 10mm from home position, and only after that it reaches bed center: it's like it's programmed to avoid the "special nut" on the origin... although it's not there. This is to prevent the moving head from scratching the...

Re: Whu did my supply unit fail?

Hello. If your printer is new manage to replace the power supply with a working one. The thermistor in the power circuit is a kind of fuse. Let's say it is designed to allow a smooth start. I think you're being very reasonable about the problem. It has to be said that in a certain period t...

What current value did you set?

Hello.

You need to calibrate your printer.

Look for the calibration cube and check the results.

Re: USB cable burning

Hi. A PC power supply is a good alternative. Do you know how to make it start? Another power supply unit will be used as an element for diagnostics. You can trust it because you know it is working. The controller board (I don't know which version you have) had an automatic switching mechan...

Re: GT2560 Too little power.!!

Hello.

Check the entire power circuit of the heated bed thoroughly.
Check everything carefully for short circuits.

The MOSFET transistor heats up when more than the nominal current flows through it.
