I use just about any Masking tape/ Blue tape I can get for PLA at 60 Deg.C. on top of a glass bed for PLA . Kapton tape is for HiTemp use ,like hotend insulation and ABS . Kapton tape is also a good base if you do not have a glass bed , the masking tape peels off of Kapton cleaner than a plane Al. b...

What is the recommended type of lubrication and the method of it as well ? I was thinking of using lithium based grease but i also have many other types of grease available to me . In repetier I beleave that in order to 0 the axis you have to home each one useing the little house buttons .

I use masking tape on my bed at 220c for PLA and I use a 5 strand skirt . I have used the expencive blue tape , the cheap brown tape and the cheap green tape from the dollar store . there all good .
