Yes,you must replace it with another one,cuz every motor has its own corresponding driver module. Here is the purchase link:

According to what you said,maybe its the driver module's problem.Swap the the Extruder motor's driver module with the X moter's.

Hello,Edwin!That is to say, there's nothing wrong with the driver.Or maybe there is a problem with your Cura's port setting,the port setting in the printer setting must be "AUTO".You can have a try.
