Check your v-wheels

This is info to maybe help others. I had problem with y-axis 'catching' in a few spots as it rolled back and forth. The catch seemed to be in time with the rolling diameter of a v-wheel. I did a test to find the bad one - use two at a time and mount in the smaller non-eccentric holes in bed mount pl...

Re: Fan problem during operation.

I asked about three wires because you gave more information than apparently was necessary and discussed 3 and 4 wire fans. I am having difficulty finding schematic with labeled connections for gt2560 revB...it looks much different than revA from I see. Cooling fan is bundled with many more cables in...

Re: Geeetech A10 - resume during printing

So far my machine hasnt done this. I have only printed 20 minute long upgrades so far at most. Does it only happen during long prints?

Re: Bad Base Plate Guide

Also my x home is 5mm off. I think this is correct and by design so that there is less chance of tip crashing into bed when you home. Can eyeball it and be sure it is above bed before you bring it over with steppers off to for leveling procedure. I don't think this is bad and working fine for me. I ...

Re: Bad Base Plate Guide

I would go through ebay seller to get new defective parts at no cost, and also try geeetech technical support. With those pictures, it looks obvious the holes in the acrylic are off. If you have no luck getting replacements, open holes up a little with dremel tool and use washers to spread load and ...

Re: Fan problem during operation.

Kaktus thanks for trying to help. I am not an electronics expert. So the fan that came with my machine is plugged into a pwm output, but since it has only two wires this is why it is only on or off and not controllable speed? I have gt2560 revB board, not revA. My question i need answered plainly is...

Re: Fan problem during operation.

I must be misunderstanding. No speed other than S255. runs my fan...which then is full speed only. On the LCD control knob, under control>temp>fan, only when the value is turned all the way up to 255 will the fan come on at all...again either it is off or on 100%. Am i missing something? That to me ...

Re: Fan problem during operation.

Okay I figured it out but still not right. Fan must be set to 100% (255) in all cases of slicer settings. Knob on lcd must go to 255 (not even 254) to work...it is only 100% on or 100% off, so really not PWM controlled for experimentation and adjusting with lower speeds. Youtube video "a10 fan weak"...
