Re: The TMC2208 about A20T Firmware
I got them working thanks to someone else who had the same issue. They had indeed wired them differently than their diagrams. Can't believe how much of a difference they make. Need to get 1 more for the 3rd extruder. You should really do a 'Silent Edition' and an upgrade pack. Stepper driver upgrade...

Re: The TMC2208 about A20T Firmware
Correct. I can't adjust the voltage.
My guess is that the VREF pin hasn't been wired correctly, I found someone else with the same problem.
They probably work fine, but I have no way to adjust them without the VREF pin working.
I'm going to return them and get a different brand.

Re: The TMC2208 about A20T Firmware
I have installed TMC2209 https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B082FBLH62/ref=cfb_at_prodpg I'm trying to tune the VREF and all I get is 4.88v. Potentiometer makes no difference on output. I know it could be a defective product, but I would be surprised if 5 of them are defective. Any suggestions on what migh...

Re: printing horror show
If you are printing a single colour make sure the other 2 filaments are pulled out of the hot end slightly. I found that it was causing issues with retractions not relieving the pressure in the hot end. Made an instant difference when I realised after doing the multicolour test print. I now have it...

Re: Cura 4.4.1 virtual extruders (up to 8 colors)
I put the following in the Start G-Code for the printer: M163 S0 P0.5 M163 S1 P0.5 M163 S2 P0 M164 S3 This assigns the mix to the virtual extruder, running the first test print but seems to be working well. Test print is only one colour so will have to see how it works with multiple colours and the ...

Re: The TMC2208 about A20T Firmware
I would like to upgrade to TMC2208, but have BlTouch.
Are you saying that if we swap the wires it will be supported?
Do you know when we will have a firmware with TMC2208 and 3DTouch support?
