I'm very interested where this thread goes as I am also trying to add a layer fan to my ProW. Stock firmware. Haven't tried much as I've just bought the fan (Noctua) but so far it just stays on constantly.

Posting this because I had the same issue as icestabinface and it appears to be a common one. The solution for me was that the control board comes with four stepper controllers already installed (not five as in the photo William posted) in positions 2-5 but the stepper controller position 5 should b...
