Not moving on X or Y axis
The extruder wont' move on the X or Y axis. I have updated the firmware and I know the X axis rods are level because I have adusted them using a spirit level?

The temperature of the nozzle stays the same whether it is plugged into the control board or not.

I tried a new extruder and the nozzle still won't heat up. Could it be the control board?

I checked the connections, the nozzle still doesn't heat up, either using the printer control or printing from the SD card. Thank you for your replies. I've managed to run the print job from the printer, I hadn't thought to try and press the scroll wheel. It won't get to the printing stage however, I set the bed temperature and extruder temperature by altering the gcode file to 70 and 205, and the bed temperature gets to...

I have done that but how do I print once it is saved to the SD card and the card is in the printer?

I have tried formatting the SD card using SD Card Formatter. I can save the gcode to the card from Ultimaker Cura, then I put it in the printer SD card slot. It says Card inserted on the display but there is no button to print in Cura?

I am trying to get my 3D printer working for the first time. I am using Repetier-Host. I load in a model, connect to the printer and slice it then click run job.
