3DTouch / BLTouch
I see there's always a chaos because almost all peoples think that the 3DTouch and the BLTouch V3 are the same . This is ABSOLUTELY wrong. They are NOT the same . They need a different distance value (Marlin) between the probe and the nozzle's pin : it's -37 for the 3DTouch and -40 for the BLTouch V...

Re: Geeetech aluminum BLtouch problem!!
You have the 3D Touch , not the BL Touch. This is the first point that must be cleared : they are NOT the same AND the BL Touch V3 need to add some code on Marlin to work properly. You have points where you can put a paper and others where the nozzle touch the bed ? Then your sensor isn't working ri...

Re: Nozzle sizes on A10M
I don't own the A10M but the A10. Assuming the A10 use M6 (thread) nozzles the truth is that the digital caliper tell you they are something like 5.5mm . I have some M6 nozzles, spares, for a different printers and when you screw them they do "grip" only on the last half turn. I've solved buying ori...

Re: Geeetech aluminum BLtouch problem!!
You have to set the Z offset... Anyway, what version of the BLTouch you use AND what version of Marlin ? If you use the latest version of BLTouch (smart V3) the only way to let the sensor working properly is to install Marlin 2.x OR a deep tweak on Marlin 1.9 Bugfix IS necessary. Without the necessa...

Re: A10, BLTouch smart V3, Marlin 2 ..
Hello Sorry , i wrote Bltouch smart V3 wich is different than the 3DTouch . Apparently they are the same but they are not. There are new instructions on Marlin 2 to let the Bltouch properly work because a new algorythm. It's been two years that i play with 3D printers and since i bought the Bltouch ...

A10, BLTouch smart V3, Marlin 2 ..
Well, seems the BLTouch smart V3 works correctly with the new stuff by Marlin 2. A test has been made between me ( A10, BLTouch smart V3 , Marlin 1.8.x "bugfix" ) and a friend with a different printer , same BLTouch, Marlin 2 . We made a test like : 5 squares , 30x30mm one layer height ( 0.2 ) . Fou...

Re: A 10 wheels
Hello,
the wheel is tight but distant from the frame...seems the end plate isn't straight but little "oblique" . I'll have to see if i can put it more close to the frame ...i see there's just one screw to do so but i'm asking if this the right way to do so

A 10 wheels
Hello , i noticed one of the 3 wheels on the right side of the X carriage isn't touching the frame at all. I think there's 1 or 2mm gap . I never fixed any nut since i got the printer and printed parts are great but ..have one of 3 wheels loose isn't good me think. Any suggestion about how to fix pl...

Re: Clogged bowden tube , cleaned but..
Hello,
Oh yes, i know all Geeetech videos . Well the teflon tube don't "slip" anymore ..it was because the coupler so i fixed the plastic part of the coupler with a cable zip tie . There are "clips" to print on Thingiverse but the zip tie work nice

Clogged bowden tube , cleaned but..
Hello ! Well for some reasons my A10 printer decided to drive me crazy because the bowden tube got clogged. So i decided to see if anything about cleaning on Youtube and there are tons of videos. Following a video regarding the Ender 3 (basically it's the same printer) the person on the video unscre...
