Re: 3dtouch probe failure?
PS-type addendum: Geeetech looked at my issue, determined the unit was faulty, sent me another promptly. I'd like to say all is well, but while this one gets farther toward functioning, for some unknown reason it always ends its probing attempts (both G28 and G29) in an error (flashing) condition, a...

Re: 3D touch Prbing failed
Slight upward movement BEFORE extending the probe is understandable, because if you started out with the nozzle clear down at ZERO there would not be enough room to extend the probe tip as it has to in order to measure for the bed. But after that slight lift, the tip should extend (and the light sho...

Re: 3D Touch not working correctly
I have been fighting with my 3D Touch too - for WEEKS now - currently on my second one because apparently the 1st was faulty. But from your video it looks to me like your guess that it's mounted too high is correct! Yes, the extended probe touches before the nozzle hits, but it's not mounted low eno...

Re: 3dtouch probe failure?
hushtug Mee Two Yeah - sounds like my story - care to do a duet? Power-up extends/retracts probe twice, not thrice as it's reportedly supposed to do. Don't know if it can ever work as a bed level probe, because I can't get HomeZ done, either! When running from the printer controls (Ender 3, TH3D uni...

3D touch adjustment
Hello Trying to install 3D Touch on an Ender 3, but cannot dial in Home Z, much less actually doing any bed PROBING! Opened a big can of worms by TRYING to adjust the setscrew on top - the one that's not mentioned AT ALL in the manual - but that proved as hard to replicate as anything else I see in ...
