Re: How is this company still in business
Hmmmmm well my experiences with 4 machines over 18 months are very different. If you buy from Geeetech you must remember you will and must assume, to be very much on your own. Had 4 Geeetech machines now down to one. Nothing much good to say I'm afraid about support. Supplier only answers about 30% ...

Re: Installing TMC2208
Thanks to all for a much needed post. For me there are 3 more important issues to consider. 1. All TMC2208's I have used (currently ver 1.2) say to remove the 3 jumpers under the A4988. This is not mentioned and 2. Running this rig without a fan would be inviting trouble. Let's leave it at that. 3. ...

Re: Wobbly Print Bed on A20m
For those who want to continue and know how to fix. Underneath the bed you will see 4 nuts above the metal base. Turn these anti-clockwise in turn until the bed is tight. But warning - don't go too tight. I know personally of 7 cases where the bed was delivered loose. And where are the maker instruc...

Re: Dual Axis Z
is it an improvement?
Be very careful before changing anything as obviously the maker has worked out most stuff.

Check the FAQ section here.
Geeetech advises to use a drop of oil in the centre top hole in such cases.
Had the same problem - used INOX spray lubricant (same as but better than WD40).
Others that should work are Silicon and PTFE sprays.

One page Starter for your new Geeetech A20M
Hi to all. This started out as my simple check every time I do a new print. Then it morphed to take on a new inclusive idea. That there is so little info out there for this printer it would be better to write out my steps to get mine to work. So here it is. Hope it helps a lot of people not to have ...

Re: New owner with some questions
Just to close off on this topic. Geeetech has been in touch to confirm all that is required using the new longer nozzle is to re-level the bed or adjust the Z endstop position. No firmware massaging is required. If you are still using the shorter original nozzle suggest you change - the difference i...
