Re: Geeetech A30 Cura Profiles

I just used the defaults under new and set the table size + marlin g-code. Works fine, not sure why everyone is on about loading a fancy profile... I've now had a look a the files and there is nothing extra in there. Your issue is almost certainly slicer issues rather than machine profile. Use the b...

Re: Print fails at layer 1 every time

Nozzle is too close to the bed, filament cant come out enough to stick. Raise the offset.

You are missing a number of crucial words in that question.

Re: Problems with leveling / General questions

Good luck with that.

As I mentioned in my post the gantry does not stay level for more than one or two prints. You should use something that is known to be level and does not move, hence using the actual frame.

Re: Geeetech A30 + TPU filament

bowden tube is not suitable for flexible filiment, if you get the A30 and you really want to do that you will probably need to get a whole new extruder setup.

Re: A30 restart during printing

It restarts when the USB is connected, probably a bug. Just use the SD card for printing

Re: z axis vibration

That shaking bar should be loose, that allows compensation for the bar not being perfectly straight which no bar will ever be! You should disregard the comment about putting tape in the machine, it is purposefully designed to have play! Given that during the video you are printing a single layer, th...

Re: Auto-leveling

I've had great success with levelling using the capacitance sensor. This is what I do: 1) Make sure the bed is aligned to the actual machine. This does not need to be done too often, in fact I've done it once. Full details here: http://geeetech.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=65&t=61661#p86325 2) (part of...

Re: Print Quality Troubleshooting

Looks like the z is not lifting, it does that if the cross bar is not parallel to the bed. Can you hear a gringing noise, or hold your hands on the vertical bits and feel if it vibrates. Use a vernier (or tape measure if you not got a vernier) and make sure its perfectly level (you should level your...

Re: Problems with leveling / General questions

If you want to manually level the bed I would suggest you get a vernier. I am also not convinced the pre-heating is required. I don't bother with doing that. I do heat the nozzle though as usually there is a hard piece of plastic sticking out the bottom, not for "growth" due to heat! Just compensate...
