Re: Help with Geeetech i3 pro b Acrylic edition.

Hi! i use a spirit level to check . A spirit level is of no use as the base of the printer may not be level. You need to measure each side and adjust each screw individually till the X-Axis is at the same height at both sides. I measure between the top of the Z motor plate and the bottom of the Z-Ax...

Re: Serial Port Speed Witz Arduino 1.0.1??

I've only played with my firmware once when I needed to change the Z-Axis step size after replacing the M8 threaded rods with T8, single start leadscrews. I used the Arduino IDE application to read, modify and upload the new firmware though I can't remember if I had to change the Baud rate to 250000...

Re: printer settings for geeetech prusa i3 pro b

Not sure if you're talking about a Z-Axis wobble here? i want to try put a vibration limit to prevent prin quality being poor I've printed and fitted a mod which cures this, see: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2508800 I've upgraded to T8, single start leadscrews rather than the M8 threaded rods. ...

Re: Upgrading Prusa I3 Pro B

No need to buy a new board as the GT2560 board https://www.geeetech.com/wiki/index.php/GT2560#Interface_Layout already has the connections for a second extruder. You'd definitely have to buy the additional hot end hardware and a replacement extruder mount for the Y carriage to accommodate the additi...

Re: Geeetech i3 Pro B and shorter heat break

I had exactly the same problem as you. I think I'd managed to force the rim of the PTFE inner tube over when cleaning the extruder during a filament change. As I'd managed to clog the nozzle throat and was now unable to load filament I decided to change the throat (Heat break) I'd bought some replac...

Re: I3 Pro B Print Problem.

You indicate that you've already had the printer working properly which is good. the Printer warms up and goes through all the things to print things Not a lot of information here. What sort of filament are you using? PLA, ABS, PETG, etc. What temperatures have you set for the hot end and bed. The e...

Re: Is my Geeetech i3 Pro B Safe

Same answer I gave to exactly the same question asked further below (Question is word for word the same, strange?) I've owned my i3 Pro B since 2017, never had any problems with the mainboard or PSU. It DID stop working because the hot bed wouldn't heat up; the initial temperature registered as 0 de...

Re: Help - Geeetech I3 pro b

I have it assembled and everything seems in working order, except when I switch it on the screen just reads: "Card is okay! Start test!" Not really enough information. Does the display show the hot end and bed temperatures on power up? Does it show the current X.Y and Z coordinates? does it say "I3...

Re: Geeetech i3 pro b not handling filament well

I found that it would really only work well with one filament at a time and that if I had to switch filaments Do you mean it would only work with one manufacturers filament, one colour or one type, i,e, PLA, APS, PETG, etc? Different manufacturers shouldn't matter in the main providing it's not too...

Re: How to run 3mm Filament in a pro B?

Just checked the specs and you're right; 1.75mm and 3mm. However, I reckon you'd have to strip down the hot end and replace the PTFE lined nozzle throat with a 3mm one. You'd also have to modify your slicer settings and possibly the printer firmware to accommodate the different filament width though...
