Re: A30T; A review after 1 year... is this a dead end printer?

MOCCOR, use the Smartto from the Github site and select the motor control to calibrate the extruders. My machine was off by quite a bit, but after using the tool when I ask for 100mm of filament extruded I get exactly 100mm (the machine was under extruded by default.... so much for Geeetech stating ...

A30T; A review after 1 year... is this a dead end printer?

Geeetech A30T review I purchased my A30T from the Geeetech Online site back in February 2021. The unit was quickly shipped and I received the unit here in the US about a week after ordering the product. The unit was badly damaged in shipment but Geeetech made everything whole for me minus the fact ...

Re: A30t each extruders calibration

The firmware and smarto tool does not allow for each extruder to have unique calibration figures. Certainly a short coming of the printer if folks want to replace one extruder. In reality all three extruders (gearing and motors) have to be exactly the same. If they are not then you may be out of luc...

A30T - Repetier - Prusaslicer; stalled printing??

The framework is this: A30T printer Prusaslicer 2.3.0 for slicing a multi color print (two colors on same layer) Repetier-Host & Repetier-Server as printer control When printing from Repetier (host or slave) with gcode created by Prusaslicer, a long stall happens when swapping tools (filament) and p...

Re: A30T Prusa Slicer profiles

Thanks for the posting, I will give these a try. I have just completed my work on PrusaSlicer profiles for fine/normal/draft using PLA. I'm quite pleased with the results and it only took about two days to iron out the details. No stringing, multicolor swapping on same layer, tower builds, etc. all ...

Re: A30T extruders on Z-Axis?

check out thiniverse and search for A30T and you'll find the post. A German fellow (I recall). I held on to the teflon tubes during a print and mine really don't move. I'm more concerned about added vibration and load on the Z-axis stepper motors. I'm torn ;) . I still have a way to go. I'm very pro...

A30T extruders on Z-Axis?

I spotted a person who modified the printer so the three extruders ride up and down the Z-axis. This allowed this user to significantly shorten the distance from the extruder to the hot end. While making sense, going through this effort have that much of an impact on printing? The user said it elimi...

Re: Cura profile file for A30T

Can't copy the curaprofile files to any Cura location, these must be imported via the Cura tool. I figured it out after doing some google searches.
