Re: mk2a heatbed upgrade to mk3 heat bed ?

Thanks for your lengthy reply. My main reason for changing it is for looks. It worked just fine. At first I was going to install the mk3 Ali bed, and fix it without springs and make use of the 3d touch to level it. I have up on that option after reading hundreds of posts of people not able to get it...

Re: Problems with z axxis of prusa i 3A with 3 in one box

Hi, firstly make sure the bearings are moving freely on the z axis smooth rods, also make sure the x axis rods are not to tight in the carriers and the extruder belt is not to tight. if you are satisfied they are ok, then i would lower / home the z axis. raise by 10 mm and adjust the couplers. na dl...

Re: Z wobble - Geeetech I3 Pro B - short question

There is a difference between z wobble and z banding. The modifications are a mask to hide these.. but not a 100% fix. I had z banding, my first step was to make sure my threaded rods were straight., there were ok, but were very soft, so replaced them straight away. Also the geeetech push rods are v...

Re: who has a 3D or BL touch working?

Thanks for the direction. i dont think there has not been a page i havent read firmware ive tried, or setting. i have also been on numerous other sites covering the bl touch too. giving this sensor an hour is sufficient, which with proper instruction and code should be quite simple. 9 hours wasted w...

piece of crap 3d touch from geeetech.

Ok.. i have purchased this cheap knockoff and have spent a whole day trying to get it working. now if your reading this and considering buying this - DONT. I would rather eat a roll of filament and have my rear end heated to 200`c and print that way than go through the pain of trying to get this wor...

Re: who has a 3D or BL touch working?

Hi, I am suffering the same as you. I have it properly installed it ( correct height ) i have uploaded numerous firmwares and managed to get it to work. all the tests pass without a problem. it goes throught the process of leveling. but when it goes to print its too high from the bed. I have set the...
