No solder problems.
I have swapped drivers, wires and motors and the extruder is not working reliably. It'll work intermittently. If I plug the extruder motor into the x-axis plug it runs like a charm. At this point I'm convinced my brand new GT2560 is bad.

Re: Solutions for GT2560 extruder not working
These forums are painfully slow due to the way they are moderated. Here are the troubleshooting steps I have taken. I am getting hardly any current to my extruder stepper motor. I adjusted the potentiometer on the driver for the extruder and it does not seem to be raising or lowering the voltage and...

Re: Solutions for GT2560 extruder not working
I have uploaded the updated firmware but it still is not extruding. I have removed the stepper motor and tried running it without anything to stop it but it still is not turning properly. I though I might have a bad wire so I swapped out the wire and no luck. Here is my motor not doing it's thing: h...

Re: Mk8 Extruder adjustment
Sorry, just trying to work this out in my head. It looks like the more you tighten the tensioning screw the more it is supposed to lift the lever device thereby placing pressure on the grooved wheel squeezing the filament against the gear. Unfortunately it seems that the lever on my extruder may be ...

Re: Mk8 Extruder adjustment
Looking closely at the tensioning screw and the design does not make a lot of sense to me. I see other extruders online and there is a solid bolt going all the way down through to the bottom of the frame, but mine is a bolt that only seems to push down on the top of the spring. There is a bolt comin...

Re: Mk8 Extruder adjustment
Everything is new including the filament. It was working great then suddenly began intermittently jamming. Running PLA with the extruder at 220. I started at 210 and kicked it up to 220 in the hope that was the issue but it isn't. I adjust the tensioning bolt very slowly but it does not seem to reso...

Re: Mk8 Extruder adjustment
I read that post, thank you for sharing it but it looks like everything I have already tried. I have adjusted the screw from it's highest most point to it's lowest it tiny 1 turn increments and it does not seem to solve the issue. It will feed incrementally but then I get the periodic popping sound ...

Mk8 Extruder adjustment
Hello, Looking for guidance on adjusting the Mk8 Extruder. Mine keeps making a clicking sound and not feeding the filament. I see people stating that this is an adjustment issue in various forums but nothing that explains the proper way to correct this. There is an adjustment bolt on top of my extru...

Re: Configuration.h for Geeetech Prusa I3 Pro B
Was calibrating my printer, went into the configuration.h and changed my x axis settings to hopefully make it more accurate. I uploaded it to my printer and boom, now I'm getting an heat Error. Error: Printer stopped due to errors. Fix the error and use M999 to restart. (Temperature is reset. Set it...
