Re: Latest Marlin RCBugFix branch for PI3 Pro B

Still, thanks for your kind answer NiklasO. For now, I've given up the latest Marlin (too many issues) and switched back to the good old stable marlin 1.0.2 (or something like that). And with it, at least I have some results : I am now able to get the 3DTouch to answer M280 commands (using CuteCom i...

Re: Latest Marlin RCBugFix branch for PI3 Pro B

Yes, the standard "reprap discount"-one. I think I didn't need to change that since I'm guessing we have the same LCD. As it is, it's not really the LCD menu which has an issue, it's the very slow response from the printer. There's a 2 seconds lag for each command I turn on from the LCD Menu (which ...

Re: Latest Marlin RCBugFix branch for PI3 Pro B

I've got everything - almost - done with Marlin RCBugFix, but I'm dealing with a lot of strange behaviors. One of them concern the lcd menu : there's a big time gap, a delay, between the lcd menu and the response from the printer. But I can't really determine where it comes from since a lot of setti...

Re: Latest Marlin RCBugFix branch for PI3 Pro B

Ah I was unsure about the pins, I'm gonna check with my working config. Thanks a lot NiklasO ! PS : last thing before I stop annoying you. There is a very interesting line about FIX_MOUNTED_PROBE, which I'm planning to use (I own both an inductive sensor and the BLTouch, but this one is gonna be a l...

Re: Latest Marlin RCBugFix branch for PI3 Pro B

Re: Latest Marlin RCBugFix branch for PI3 Pro B

And here's a question : This config is for the GT2560 board ? Because I'm on the good old ramps 1.4 for my prusa i3 Pro B, and I'm getting this error when verifying in Arduino (not sure if it is related) : error: missing binary operator before token "(" I'm getting this for every line starting with ...

Re: Update to latest Marlin ?

Answer to myself : Got it to work modifying only configuration.h (and removing the #include files at the end of the conf), but it do not seem that great. More tests needed, maybe with keeping the #include line and the files from my previous firmware.

Update to latest Marlin ?

Hi everyone ! Let's say I want to update the firmware I have for my Prusa i3 Pro B to the latest Marlin-RCBugFix : which files and sections from the Marlin-RCBugFix do I need to modify accordingly ? Do I only need to modify the configuration.h file or are there others I need to pay attention to ? T...

Re: [HowTo] Upload your 3d Printer Firmware in Linux

Une dernière chose : dans CuteCom, je ne sais pas si on doit cocher software ou hardware pour l'handshake. Je pense que ça revient au même mais je n'en suis pas certain.
