Fans aren't working

Post by CedricJ » Mon Sep 07, 2015 9:34 pm

Hi,

Sorry for my english ^^'
I have assembled my geeetech prusa pro C i3 dual extruder.
I have also installed the software and the drivers on my PC.
But when I turn on the printer, everything is open, except the fans...
I switched fans wires, but nothing changed...
Did I forget something ? I am a noob, I don't understand everything yet...

Thanks for your help !

Did you plug it in the right place? If so, what's the voltage of the fan slot?

Yes, I plugged it exactly like in the instructions, I tried the first, the second and the third slot, but nothing happened...
The red and black wires aren't inversed (red+, black-)
How can I check the voltage of the fan slot ?
Can it be a problem with the firmware ?

Might be, you can get the firmware here:http://www.geeetech.com/forum/viewtopic ... 20&t=16901
But try to measure the voltage here first(GT2560 and sanguinololu):

Hi Mark,
I tried with a voltmeter : it stays at 0.0...
Is that a problem of the card ? (it's a GT2560)

Can you move the motors and other parts? If you can, it can't be 0V. So did you use the 20V DC range?
