FAQ--All you must know about 3DWiFi/Easyprint/Firmware -> Outdated

Post by YvonGeee » Tue Jan 28, 2020 5:07 pm

Hi Geeetech team,

Those FAQs seems outdated for me, no A20x mention, ...

Can you update those?

Also when will you release official Marlin v2 for A20M ?

Thanks

Is it possible to update firmware in 3D wifi to be octoprint compatible?
For inspiration see

and others similar projects
A10M Slic3r profile: here and fresh on github (lot of tips here)
A10 Slic3r profile: here
TIP: tight all screws and wheels (except right side of Z axis) and re-align frame while assembly. And silence it.

Hi Vert,

I meant officially available here on the Geeetech website ;-)

Nevertheless, I got your latest build yesterday and successfully updated my A20M without any issue.
I used "Cyclops" for the head, you confirm it is the proper define to use?

I was wondering if there is a place with the explanation of all the various menus and parameters from the MarlinV2 somewhere (like in the official printer user guide)?

Because I see tons of changes compared to the old Marlin that came default with the printer.

Also, if 3DWifi really compatible with A20M? I can connect the module to my internet, I can see the module with the app on IOS but the printer is always offline...

Thanks!

Yvon

You are doing a really fantastic job here, of course you need Geeetech to endorse you!!!!

I finally got my 3DWifi to see the printer and correctly controls it.
USB must be plugged after the printer is on.

Anyway, still trying to understand the real usage of that thing ;-)

Hello,
I just bought a geeetech A20m and a 3D wifi module. I tried to install it with easyprint 3d on my iphone 7+ as recommended in the furnished manual but I never managed to get the page which allow to scan the QR code of my printer so the printer is always oofline. So I can't change the baud rate. So I get the same trouble as Yvon. Can anyone help us? Thanks in advance. Brigitte
