A10M Cleaning the Heater Block is a NIGHTMARE

Hello,

I have a request... can we have a picture/diagram/animation/or something explaining what exactly is going on inside the A10M hot end? There are many pieces, parts, and small bits that just aren't on any other hardware I've seen. For the life of me, I can't seem to get the chamber clear of gunk and the buildup has caused every one of my prints recently to look like hair (not spaghetti, hair).

Searching the internet I have found 2 semi-instructional how-to videos on the topic that have the same look & feel the official Geeetech productions. The first "how to clean" doesn't really bring any hard-hitting "halleluja" type tips or tricks... in fact, I believe it ends with the narrator saying he was lucky he was able to order a new hot end configuration.

The orange level in my type-sketch a complete mystery! Why the little screws? Why have the __/\__ circular corrugated disks inside the throat end stops? Is this chamber pass-through? Should i be able to see the other side when I'm done cleaning it? I can't seem to get anything to work in there and I've about had it : (

From your photo, what are the circles?

Also, the screw threads have worn down from having to clean this thing out so much. How can I get a new heater block? I tried asking someone in sales, but the only thing they told me to do is to buy a whole new hot end configuration- which is way more than i need.

I just purchased a "Geeetech 2 in 1 Out Dual extruder Mix Color hotend for A10M A20M M201" on Amazon for $26.

After 3 heads and dozens of times taking the hotend off to clean it or pulling the tubing to try and get the darn thing to work, it said hello to my little trash truck friend. Cyclops heads as I find out are not the way to print multi filament. The way that I do it now is just create models that are broken into segments in Fusion 360 and export them to single filament machines to print and glue together. Or print in white pla and air brush. Soooooooo much easier and less stressful. Not to mention expensive. The A10M cost me hundreds of dollar to keep going and only managed to print a dozen or so successful models. I hear some have had better luck, but I have seen a whole lot more that have not. These machines are way to finicky and prone to breakdowns. Buyer beware!

For the two-in and one-out extruders,
you need to clean them regularly to prevent the blocking effect from affecting the printing.
