Max Temp error

Post by lawsdan » Wed Nov 14, 2018 11:05 pm

Geeetech A10 new Printer
USB shorted out and damaged the bord GT2560 Rev. B
Purchased a new GT2560 Rev. B
Installed new board
Now I have a Max Temp error
If I unplug the cable to the hot end and power-cycle the printer the error resolves.
If i plug the cable to the hot end back in the max temp error occurs immediately
Tested the thermistor 140k ohms at room temp of 18.33 C , 65 F

Thanks for your help

I get this too and the only way I have been able to clear it is to cycle the power. I figured out that the Molex connector in the back of the printer is the culprit. When I am printing, I noticed temperatures fluctuating greatly. Wiggling this fixes it if I catch it before MAX TEMP is reached.
