Hi, My printer MeCreator2 is equipped with a variety of motors and each of them has different nominal current:

The motors are as follows:
X - 42SHD 0217-24F ... Current = 1.5A
Y - 42SHD 0034-20B ... Current = 1.0A
Z - 42HS3418-305N8 ... ???
E - N42HS3418-24B22... ???

For the Z and E motors I could not find any specs, so I don't know their nominal current.

Also, the Drivers seem to be A4988, how do I calculate the current based on Vref on this drivers? I cannot see the resistor value because of the heatsink on top.

Please advise with the following:
- Nominal Current for Z and E motors
- Current calculation formula for A4988

Hi, the D42HS3418-24B22 current is 1.68A，and the A4988 calculation method you can refer to this：I_TripMax= Vref/(8*Rs) （The general range is 0.8-1.2V)

What is the value of Rs for this driver? Can't see it because of the aluminium radiator. I don't want to remove it, because i am worried it won't stick back.

What about the Z axis motor current value?
