Homing Location Question

Post by todd3d » Mon Mar 11, 2019 6:27 am

I have a MeCreator2 and trying to figure out how the homing location is supposed to work. The physical switches that home the device are located in the back right corner of the machine. It seems like that position would be considered the maximum travel rate for X and Y (160) and Z would be 0. Is that correct?

If that is correct, then why does it show the values of X and Y as 0 on the display when at that position? Shouldn't it show X = 160 and Y=160? I have looked through the firmware and I don't see how I could get the device to acknowledge this location with the maximum values for X and Y instead of the minimum that it shows.

Can someone tell which setting in the configuration would allow me to have the homing position show X and Y of 160 instead of 0 when at homing location?

Actually, the homing of the Z axis on MC2 is the MAX point(150).
You need to check the profile of the slice software then test it.
-Keep your mind and try to test it. :)
