Is my bed destroyed?

Only had the printer one day and the bed zero problem caused this:

Bed is fine, believe it or don't. Removing that blue "tape" and then cleaning the bed with rubbing alcohol showed no damage or marks. Nozzle appears fine, too. I did have to reset the zero switch but still have questions about how it's used.

Leveling the bed was quite difficult, with that z problem. It still isn't just right. <sigh>

Lastly, the z motor hung at the very bottom and would not move. Had to completely power down the printer and remove the USB cable (even releasing the steppers was no help.) While powered down, I put some upward pull on the bed but not enough to actually move it and heard something click. Powered back up and it started working fine. Don't know what happened there.
