Post by keyser187 » Sat Oct 13, 2018 6:46 am

Tried to drill out the hole to 8mm as it was under and had to hammer the threaded rods in.

The 8mm hole didn't fit the threaded rods so that you have to drill it?

the 8mm hole in the coupler was under size ( 7.8-7.9) so the threaded rod was a very tight fit which i had to force in.
so i tried to drill it to 8mm :? went in ok but snapped coming out.
recently upgraded to lead screws and new black couplers 8-)
but now i managed to snap a pin on the y axis end stop . Does anyone know which end stop i need to buy to fit the GT2560 as it only has 2 pins and the ones im finding on amazon and geeetech site are 3 pins and dont look like they will fit where my old ones are placed?

Hello.

For a new topic you should create a new post.

With limit switches it is so:
  • 3 pins
You can select the type of action,
    1 - disconnects 2 outputs after switching,
    2 - after switching connects 2 outputs.
  • 2 pins
You have no choice of functionality,
It works only in one way, its type you have to choose when you buy it.
:D
On the forum I help to use the rod, I don't give fish.
