Gas Sensors

Post by mauricebelisle » Tue Apr 16, 2013 8:52 pm

To Whom It May Concern,

I’ve recently purchased a few M Series sensors from Geeetech, and therefore I am looking for the technical specifications on the following sensors, similar to the MQ-7 specification you have on our website:
1. Gas Sensor Module M-Q2+3pin Cable
2. Gas Sensor Module M-Q5+3pin Cable
Can you please provide me with the necessary documentation?

Also, with the MQ-7 Carbon Monoxide Sensor, it is my understanding that the output signal is analog ranging from 0 to 5 V - is this correct?
If indeed it is, what does the output signal for the MQ2 and the MQ5 represent since each sensor measures multiple gases (i.e. natural gas, methane, CO2, etc.)?

Lastly, do you have a sensor that only measures CO2?

Thank you very much taking the time to respond to all of my questions.

Regards,
Maurice Belisle

Hi , friend

Thank you for your e-mail.
The WIKI http://www.geeetech.com/wiki/index.php/ ... sor_-_MQ-7 is about the MQ-7 Carbon Monoxide Sensor ,you can learn it's performance and apply. Of course ,the Gas Sensor - MQ-2 Wiki http://www.geeetech.com/wiki/index.php/ ... sor_-_MQ-2.
There isn't a sensor that only measures CO2 .
Yours sincerely
