Bed adhesion problem

Post by DjBurner20 » Fri May 01, 2020 4:45 am

Hi there, I have a newly built Prusa i3 Pro B and I’m having real problems with bed adhesion, using 1.75mm filament with 0.3mm nozzle, 200c on extruder and 60c on the bed, have tried using clean glass, masking tape, hairspray, glue stick, adding a skirt raft and brim everything but the print breaks away from the glass after only a couple of layers, any suggestions

Hi,if your bed is clean and flat, it is recommended that you increase the temperature of the first layer to enhance adhesion.
-Keep your mind and try to test it. :)

You are running .3 nozzle that does not put out much plastic you must have minimum nozzle /bed clearance
and then try running 200% extrusion on first layer. This makes the 1st layer thicker, neater and it sticks much better.
