X-Axis not moving

Post by PasWeb » Sat Aug 17, 2019 12:59 pm

Hello together,

I just assembled my new printer and got some trouble with the x axis not moving. I already tried some things on it:
- Switching to the y axis control on the mainboard, it is moveable through y axis movement, but the y axis controlled by x axis is not moving (so motor is not defect)
- Switched the cable, no affect (so cable is working)
- Changed the driver thingis on the board, doesn't help at all, the x axis slot isn't working

Don't know what to do, please help...

Best regards
Pasweb

Hi, You mean to swap the motor line of the x-axis to the motor of the other axis.
Is the motor also running?

There is no problem with the x-axis motor and motor line.
Then you need to replace the motherboard, there is a problem with the x-axis motor slot.

Hello.

It is worthwhile to try to improve the soldering pads of the socket.

Maybe there is a cold solder there :?: It is worth to improve the contacts with the hot soldering tip of the soldering iron.

Hi.

You can describe your problems to your dealer, the controller board should be replaced with a working one.
