print quality

Post by Murphyprecht » Sun Jan 20, 2019 8:20 pm

Hi folks, I built my I3 last week and made some prints with dubious quality. I'm happy to do some tinkering but as this is my first printer, I'm unsure where to begin. Any advice would be welcome. I think the box at the back of the cabin shows signs of z wobble, what do you guys think?

Ok, I changed my slicer to Cura and slowed the print to 40mm. Absolutely delighted.

I think you should add a parts cooler fan and you can print the z-wobble fix (search on thingiverse), though I don't think that helped me that largely.
My benchy, same printer:
