Wrong moves after enabling Auto Levelling

Post by TerryTorry » Fri Oct 12, 2018 4:37 pm

Hi, i am very confused...

After installing CAP sensor and enabling Auto levelling there are some strange behaviours.

I have A30 with latest firmware and printed some objects with manual levelling fine. Since i activated auto levelling these things are going wrong:

- manual filament retracting will not retract filament, but moves plate in y-axis to front without stopping (no response when pressing stop on touch, have to power off)
- during printing, sometimes filament was retracted and head moves z-axis to top without stopping.

I can see, that auto levelling is processed before every job started. In built end switch for z-axis (on the bottom) will never be reached, because of cap sensor is used for finding home position.

When i disable auto levelling, everything works fine again. What can i do?

thx in advance
Terry

Personally I gave up on it and removed the sensor. The way the Z moves drove me nuts and I consider it a bug. Other printers I have do not go down on the Z when I hit up. I've registered it as a bug on git.
