Have you checked the correct baud rate and com port?

The Firmware update doesn't work with version 1.1.7 but only with the older beta version of EasyPrint 3D.

With 1.1.7 the update process doesn't start at all. With the beta version the "update" button flickers several times (maybe downloading the new firmware file) then you can press update and the green update bar starts.

Could You please check this?

Arron, from GEEETech asked me to try uploading the firmware with EasyPrint and also instructed me NOT to update the Easy Print version.

I have installed the GEEETech version 1.1.7 and clicked help and updated the firmware with no problems at all.

You have to manually select the COM and printer model first and it should work.

A (No, It doesn't) comment, isn't going to help anyone help you.

I was actually explaining my experience with this issue and for me, " Yes, It did work" as advertised. :)

Just a side note here Kibo,... I wasn't actually talking about updating, I was clearly talking about uploading of the Firmware, which is something different altogether.

No, nur I recommend to use Cura or Repetierhost, both is free and better then Easyprint.
