Hi,
just when I think I have everything right, up comes another problem.
The pic below shows 2 spot on the print where the layers always seem to separate. Not sure on the layer count but always seems to be in the same position, and easy to seperate. I can run my finger nail around the whole print to separate the print in to 3 pieces.
Any thoughts on what it could be as always seems to occur at the same level?

Layer separating.
Re: Layer separating.
Additional information.
ABS
temp 245 bed 100
top level separation is at the layer where the infil finish and the solid top layer start.
bottom separation is about the 3mm mark with 40 % infil

Re: Layer separating.
One of my thought is that it might be better printing in an enclosure.
Because ABS has more potential to warp and shrink than PLA.

So did it also happen when you print PLA?

Re: Layer separating.
No only use ABS.
Printing slower and 255 C temp help reduce the lines a bit but the structure is still weak.
I think it is mechanical issue as the lines seem to always be in the same place. I put T8 rods in and Z anti wobble bracket in which helped with the z wobble but left me with the lines.
So I am going to put the original rods back in and see how it goes.
