Prusa I3 Pro B - Problem with Y axis

Post by LucaRafa » Mon May 08, 2017 9:10 pm

Hi everyone,

I recently bought a Geeetech Prusa I3 Pro B and after some little problems I tried to make my first 3D print!

Unfortunately I encountered a problem that I cannot explain.

After some minutes from the start of the print I heard a noise and the Y axis lost its correct reference, printing the rest of the object not aligned (then I stopped the print, but probably the problem could happen again).

I attached a photo to show the problem, I hope you can help me because I really don't know how to solve it!

Thanks a lot in advance!

Hi,you can
1. check the tightness of your belt and make the appropriate adjustments;
2. Check whether the bearing and the pulley are issued, and the card can be lubricated for lubrication;
3. The printing speed is appropriately slowed down, the reference range is 30-60mm/s;
4.Driver board voltage range 0.8-1.2V

Hi
:mrgreen:

And William did it for me.

I would add one more important point. Read more of this forum.
Maybe not all the information will be useful at this stage, but nevertheless. ;)
Have you already found a subforum for your printer model :?:

Greetings to you, sir.

I got it. My Stepmotor Driver (a4988) was faulty.
Now my Printer works again.
