Getting my printer to work

Post by Slayer456 » Wed May 11, 2016 8:33 am

Hello everyone!
Well, I have successfully assembled my Geeetech Prusa i3 Pro C Dual Extruder 3D printer. Here is where I stand. All endstops seem to work. The Y axis is moving in the correct direction. The X axis seems to be moving backwards. And only one Stepper motor, on the Z axis works. All heaters are heating to the set temps. I swapped the leads on the Z axis steppers, and confirmed that both steppers are good, so it must be the driver board. I have the latest Arduino program, but can't seem to find where to download the firmware. I need to know where to go from here. I'm an electronics tech, but not a programmer. Any help would be appreciated.

hello

1. download the firmware here, and then change the direction of the X axis as instructed.
2. to check the driver board of the Z axis, u can exchange the "faulty one" with a good one to check if it is faulty.

when you upload the firmware, please use arduino 1.0.1, it is better.

Thank you. I'm now using 1.0.1. Have successfully reversed the X-Axis stepper.
I have confirmed that both Z-Axis steppers are OK. It must be the driver board.
How do I get another driver board?

I ordered a set of driver boards from Amazon.com. Cheap, and arriving Saturday. I'll report back when I get them.

Safer than Ebay. Especially if you pay with Paypal.
