Heatbed not plain

Post by robvoi » Wed Apr 13, 2016 2:16 pm

Hi,

I am assambling my Prusa i3 (A I think).

The heat bed is not plain and therefore not touching the glasss in the middle but only at the sides where the clamps are.
How do I approach this issue?

Thanks
Robert

Do you mean below the bed? On the bed there is a glass.

sorry, dumb me. If the glass on the heatbad didn't work, then I think you need to get a new heatbed.

There are only a few millimeters between the heatbed and the glass on the middle. I could indeed put an additional layer of glass below. if I then clamp it, the heatbed yould be flat. But maybe there is a better way.

The problem is solved by tightening the screws which hold the heat bed. If they are pulled tight the bed straightens.
