Installing Smartto

Post by KinCatia » Sun Jul 14, 2019 1:20 am

High I have an A30 and want to change some of the parameters so I downloaded smartto motor 1.2 for windows zip file. I'm using an old XP laptop, I ran the file and changed my path. I plugged the printer cable in and updated the drivers. I double click main.exe and it appears to run in a dos window but I see a few failure lines go by and it closes. I tried EasyPrint incase the port wasn't set correctly but that works. Running smartto the printer act as if it's initializing the same as it did with EasyPrint but I get no interface or anything other than the dos window.
Is there a guide or anything some one could point me to, for setting smartto up on XP?

Thanks, I borrowed a mates win 10 laptop and it worked. I had to set x motor travel 335 and y to 340 to get it to move to the far edges of the bed. :D
