firmware for A10 adding BLT

I downloaded what I thought was the firmware for the BLT but it is a hex file and the firmware updater is looking for bin file. I can do it in the Auduino IDE if I can download those files some where. I found files for titled Geeetech A10 with GT2560VB board and Geeetech A10 with GT2560V3 board. Would these be the files I need? If so can I find out if I have a VB or V3 without taking the printer apart? If there is an easy way to load firmware for the BLT for the A10 please direct me to the instructions.

Hi, you may need to check what model your motherboard is and select the firmware you need and update it.

Hello!

I am verry new to the whole 3D printing world.

It seems, I have a similar problem.

I wanted to upgrade my A10 to use it with BLT.

I tried it with the "firmware_tool". Selected the dowloaded hex-File, started "upgrade from local" .
The only response of the Software is:
"Start to upgrade Mainboard with avrdude!"

And then nothing else happens.

Printer Software: A10_V1.1.8
hexfile: A10_G04_V1.1.8_3Dtouch_01.hex

Can anybody give a hint?

Hi,1. If you use Arduino for updates,

2. If you download the HEX format firmware from the official website,
you can try to connect to the printer for the update using CURA slicing software.
Update the firmware in settings-manger printer -printer

Configuration.h can be modified as needed;
HEX is firmware that has been compiled and cannot be changed.
You can download and update according to your needs.
