Error compiling firmware 1.1.x12864 Greeetech A20M

Post by MrBorg » Thu May 30, 2019 4:53 am

I have done the following but I still not able to compile this firmware version:
- Installed USB-driver for Windows 10 (USB Port found afterward)
- Included U8glib_Arduino-master.zip to my Arduino application
- i get this error below:

Code: Select all

Arduino: 1.8.9 (Windows Store 1.8.21.0) (Windows 10), Board: "Arduino/Genuino Mega or Mega 2560, ATmega2560 (Mega 2560)"

Thanks for the fast reply. But hm. I followed the steps telling me to install U8glib_Arduino-master.zip library so I did. But now I have removed that library and have install u8glib_arduino_v1.18.1.zip - but now I get the error below:

Code: Select all

Arduino: 1.8.9 (Windows Store 1.8.21.0) (Windows 10), Board: "Arduino/Genuino Mega or Mega 2560, ATmega2560 (Mega 2560)"

Microsoft with Windows 10 will NOT win IoT with their poor Arduino support.

What can I then do to install Arduino on my Windows 10 PC?

I'm not knowing anything about marlin versions. I'm just trying to upgrade my A20M firmware to support 3DTouch

Sorry for my late reply. I haven't been in here for a long time. But my problem was the Windows AppStore version of Arduino. It is not the one to use for updating firmware of the printer.

Hope you can use my reply.
