How to configure github source to compile for a specific printer ?

Hello, I donwloaded some sources for my printer and be able to compile and upload them to it but how to start from the Marlin github code and make it compatible with a specific printer ?

What do you mean?
You need to refer to the video on :
how to change the fw for your printer, then you can know the steps of it.

I mean if you take the source from github, compile, and upload to your printer it won't work because some files need to be modified.
So if there's an update on github you can't get it for your printer, you need to wait geeetech to create the firmware.
If there's a procedure, anybody can to it himself...

There are two ways to modify the firmware:
The first is to use avr and the other is to use source insight
