Hi,except for upgrading with Arduino, there is another better way to upgrade firmware with EasyPrint 3D.
Here is the download link:
http://www.geeetech.net/firmware/EasyPrint.msi.
And here is the instructional video you can refer to:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U3ua4vM ... pqufTgHOgE.
-Keep your mind and try to test it. :)
-Everything will be fun!-Support all Getech printer.
-You can ask me the questions and I will kindly reply.
-Respect others is the best way you can get help!

Hello endix283,

I had the same problem and I fixed it by doing the following:

Rename fpos_t variables in SdBaseFile.h and SdBaseFile.cpp to filepos_t or any other name.
That is all. Now compile and everything should be ok.

Regards,

Cmos

Hi thanks for the work on the firmware. I have a geeetech i3 clone from ebay known as the ctc i3 pro b. I was wondering if you are planning on releasing marlin 1.1.3 for the geeetech i3 pro b as this firmware is also compatible with my printer. Thanks

Hello.

So, now as my NiklasO and NiklasO2 is deactivated because I changed mail for the two accounts again and needs manual activation (could take weeks) I now have this 3rd account. ;-)

I will create a new thread and only release stable fw's.
Since the Marlin developers have switch to release stable releases more frequent, it is now a better idea to go for the stable versions. The bugfix branch have daily changes and its hard to keep up. Much easier to just maintain the latest stable.

1.1.3 coming up in a couple of hours.

My printer is the Geeetech PRUSA I3 Rev A with the 3 in one control box.

I've checked out the code from your github:
https://github.com/fonix232/Marlin

and used branch: bugfix-1.1.x

I then replaced the Configuration.h with the example_configurations/Geeetech/GT2560/Configuration.h.
I then compiled and uploaded the new image. I can hear clicks when I press the knob but the LCD is blank.
Is there something I have done wrong or something I'm missing as to why my LCD is blank?

I should also mention I first tried the firmware (zipped file) that you attached to this post and it did the same thing (blank LCD) it was after that that I decided to checkout your branch from github and try it.

I just realized your printer is the Prusa Pro 3B so mine probably requires a different config. I will look a the original Geeetech firmware config file and merge yours and it into a new one for the latest Merlin + Geeetech PRUSA Pro A. If I do that could I do a pull request against your repo so we could do a final merge request against the main one with both printers? Or is it just best to wait for yours to get approved and then do another merge request against the main repo? Your thoughts?

Hi

Is that new Firmware will work on GT2560 A+ - is there any difference in that firmware for A and A+ GT release ? I can't find A+ definition in boards.h file

Thanks
Wes
