I just wanted to add, when I am testing the extruder motion using the on board control panel I pulled the
filament out, set the fan at about 45 degrees off and watch for the motor to turn the gear, turn the nob and nothing.

"When trying to drive the Extruder through Repetier there is no motion, When trying to get the extruder motor to drive using the .1 feed on the LCD control panel I get NO motion."
So both of your extruder motors can't turn either using repetier or LCD? then you can swap the motor with X or Y axis motor to check if it works. And check the driver direction , if you plugged it in
the wrong direction, it might be damaged.

Could I have a working version of the firmware for a G2S? I've tried several times with the version indicated in the instruction but get a long list of error codes.

All, I have been able to successfully load and run the latest stable released of Marlin for this board (1.02-1). I had no choice, since the factory firmware had the X axis moving backwards.

It appears that the 1.0 release that is shipped with the GT2560 is no longer being updated by Marlin, so I gave it a try and it seems to work fine. Download directly from Marlin ( http://www.marlinfirmware.org/index.php/Marlin_Firmware ) and use the configuration.h settings for the GT2560 listed in the GT2560 pdf manual, NOT the RAMPS. Using the setting for the RAMPS 1.4 failed with the LCD showing the blocks only. NOTE: In the newer version, there is a slight change in the format of the define for the motherboard, so pay attention. Also, if you want to have your SD card reader work, you will have to un-comment the lines in the 'Additional Features' toward the end of the configuration.h file.

I am still testing, so If I have issues, I will post them here. Good luck! -Gordo
