Replacement fuse for GT2560

Argh! I plugged in my new 8825 drivers and blew the 10A fuse on the GT2560 of my G2s. I think there might have been a loose wire that shorted something on the board but I won't know for sure until I replace the fuse and try again.

I have found places that sell the fuse with the surface mount fuse holder but usually in large quantities for manufacturers. The part number for the holder and fuse may be Littelfuse 0154010.DR or DRT. I don't know if it is fast blo or slo-blo (with the T on the end) I don't know the part number for the fuse itself although it may be 0453010. Does anyone know where I might be able to buy a few of the fuses, preferably local in the San Jose, CA area? Or is there an alternate part number I should be looking for?

Thanks.

According to Geeetech tech support, the part number is SMT 5*10,0154010.DRT,10A/125V. This Littelfuse part includes the fuse holder which is not needed. Also, the T indicates a time lag/slo-blo type fuse. According to the Littelfuse catalog, the time lag variety only goes up to 7A and the 10A one is only fast acting (without the T). So I ordered the 0154010.DR and will hope for the best.

Hopefully this will fix the problem, assuming no other damage was done to the board. I'll let you know what happens for others that may need to do this in the future.

FYI, the 0154010.DR fast acting fuse works fine.

Hi!. The hot bed fuse of the printer has burned down after two prints. The hot bed no longer works.

I can not find fuses with the reference you give. I found this one, Fuse

could it be worth it?

Best regards

Thank you very much, but that fuse is 10A and the one I need is 15A for the hot bed.

Can a 10A fuse be used in the hot bed?

The GT2560 specification seems to mention a 10A supply for the hot bed specifically, so it's a "suck it and see" job, if it can't be used...
Worst scenario, the fuse blows again. :(
