rostock 301 filament extrusion too hard
Re: rostock 301 filament extrusion too hard
Well I just heard from tech support. I was told that if I want to replace none working feeders with working ones to buy them myself. I am now done and demanding a full refund. I will not be doing business with this company again.
Re: rostock 301 filament extrusion too hard
Well I am basically stuck with it. We can't come to terms on a full refund and return. I was offered $70 store credit towards future purchase and I pay for replacement of the feeders.
So the war of attrition begins. I will not let this go unanswered.

I have had the same problem with my Prusa i3 of geeetech.
The rostock and Prusa of geeetech share the same extruder.
My solution was to modify the cold end
I added a screw and cut off some plastic since the bearing couldn't get closer to the toothed wheel.
In the picture you can see in the red circle where i cut away some of the plastic.
This fix helps a lot, I have had some success but yet to complete a single print because of all the other glitches in the firmware.
