Y axis issue

Post by jortner » Wed Apr 20, 2016 10:56 am

Hello All,

I have a GEEETECH Prusa I3 Pro x. The printer worked great for the first couple of weeks but now I'm have a issue the Y axis. It will sometimes get stuck and mess up the prints. It will work fine for the first couple of layers than I will hear a grinding sound and the build platform will get hung up for a sec and than free itself. I replaced the bearings and greased the smooth rods at least half a dozen times. I watch it as it is printing and cant find anything for it to get hung up on. I'm not sure what to try next. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Jason
