firmware reload, no more extruder!

Hi,
After refreshing the GT2560 of my i3 X with version 1.0.2 of the firmware which I downloaded from this forum, my printer does not extrude filament any longer.

Please, please help!!!

I downloaded the firmware from this sit.
What I worked out is that by enabling the eeprom in configuration.h the extruder setting changes to volumetric but the menu item used to switch volumetric off does not work.
Disabling eeprom, the volumetric menu works again and can be disabled, fixing the extruder.

I's really like to have the eeprom work....
