Extruder issue

Post by Lhindu » Sun May 26, 2019 6:04 pm

Hello everyone!

I write here before contact someone in Geeetech, the things is that my brand new A20M only recognices 1 extruder, even in the printer info: "Extruders: 1".
The question is: what can i do from here?. The extruder working is the E0, but the sensor in the E1 is working when i set the runout sensors to ON. I read about updating the firmware for others problems, someone with this problem before?.

Thanks in advance.

Mixing extruder's have only 1 extruder as far as marlin knows as mixing is all done virtually by vtool.
the only way you would see 2 is if you reprogrammed it in to cyclops mode.
I wondered because i want to move the servo E1, but only moves the E0. In the configuration i test changing to 2 extruders but give me the error in the mixing section so i keep the original.

So, there is a way to test the servos of the filament? not printing??, like the option "move axis" but for each motor?

change mix virtual gradient from 100/0 to 0/100 then move extruder.
Thanks, that work for test the functionality...i checked this post:
http://www.geeetech.com/forum/viewtopic ... 19&t=17097

and realiced that the extruder was loose, y clean the glue and connected again and start working.

And William, instead of changing the firmware i switch the conectors directly in the board.

Thanks to all.
